Almeida looking so good for the Tour. UAE will more than likely finish 1-2 in this race. Mas and Bernal on an upward trajectory and Ritchitello a positive surprise. Skjelmose disappointing.

Bernal riding very well, must be great to have a teammate like Pidcock who says I’m riding for myself in the Tour

Pidcock really comes off as arrogant and selfish. If I was Ineos and given the way Rodriguez, De Plus and Bernal are riding I wouldn't send Pidcock to the Tour and would send him to the Vuelta instead.

Mas is looking very comfortable, but looks can often deceive...
Mas just doesn’t have any miles in his legs this year. He’s put in less racing KMs than he ever had and it’s showed every time he has put on a number.

Even though they would deny it, it looks like they are using the Tour as a build up for the Vuelta and trying to time it to his peak.

Brian Smith believes tomorrow will be a breakaway stage. Nibali fans will disagree, but I think that‘s physically impossible.

UAE 1,2 - Mas, Bernal & young Riccitello the last to hang on. There'll be some worried talks for some teams.

to me it seems a waste that Yates will have to ride for Pog. He looks strong enough to have his own team
