He is free to go one more time. But Pog is the leader no matter what.to me it seems a waste that Yates will have to ride for Pog. He looks strong enough to have his own team

Anyway if Almida or his fans don't want him pulling for leaders and fetching bottles, it was him who chose to sing a 7 year contract with the biggest superteam in the sport instead of staying at the team where he is leader.
Pidcock probably just said something like they'll start as co-leaders, and some people pile in to him, like they usually do. He just rode for Bernal, here, in this race, we were watching today.Almeida looking so good for the Tour. UAE will more than likely finish 1-2 in this race. Mas and Bernal on an upward trajectory and Ritchitello a positive surprise. Skjelmose disappointing.
Pidcock really comes off as arrogant and selfish. If I was Ineos and given the way Rodriguez, De Plus and Bernal are riding I wouldn't send Pidcock to the Tour and would send him to the Vuelta instead.
It was more of a surge than a big attack, I doubt it took too much out of him. Didn’t use nearly as much energy as Almeida pulling all that time.Thanks, that's what I thought given that it's an Italian name. Nice bit of pacing by him at the end. Shame he wasted a bit of energy with that attack earlier.
How did he ride for him today?Pidcock probably just said something like they'll start as co-leaders, and some people pile in to him, like they usually do. He just rode for Bernal, here, in this race, we were watching today.
He used to when he was younger and stronger. He took early retirement with Ineos and UAE.to me it seems a waste that Yates will have to ride for Pog. He looks strong enough to have his own team
He had a great result last year riding for Pogacar, don’t think he would have finished any higher as a team leader on another team. But I understand what you’re saying—would be more interesting and increase the competitive environment of the Tour if he were to ride for himself. We’re in an era of big money teams hiring super-domestiques who could win or have won (eg., Hindley) GTs.to me it seems a waste that Yates will have to ride for Pog. Very trueRandom and I guess late observation, but its kinda cool that Israel isnt that meme team where you let your career fizzle out for way too much money anymore, but that they have a lot of young, promising talent now.
Same way Kelderman rode for Uijtdebroeks. By riding in front of him/in his way for 100 meters before getting dropped.How did he ride for him today?
Remco is going to do OG and WCC after TDF so i would highly doubt he's going to the Vuelta. Roglic i don't know.Yates and Almeida will have a good chance in the Vuelta now that Vingegaard is not starting and neither are Roglic or Remco, I think?
This is like the sport of baseball in a way no? Where it seems only a few clubs buy all the best players. Should there be a limit as to how much a cycling team can spend?He had a great result last year riding for Pogacar, don’t think he would have finished any higher as a team leader on another team. It would be one thing if he was preparing to ride the Tour for the gc and using this as a training ride.Yeah, lets go with the "bad day" narrative. When others dropping they are just not good enough, but when Skjelmose gets dropped its because "he's flying too close to the sun" or just having an off day. How about telling it as it is - he just isn't as great and good a pure climber? That would be nice for once.
Stupid danish media!
Iconic.Before everyone overreacts to one bad day, here are some stirring historical images of Skjelmose being the only one trying to follow the big names on the climbs and his wings melting as proof of his daring courage;
Almedia, great multiple times today, and when he sat down and regrouped spun himself into a second place on the stage and finished very close. Bernal calmed down also to avoid disaster.Couldn't be happier to see Almeida and Yates in good form!
