Supposedly it was a nice kick by nocentini. Haven't seen coverage but was there a break that didn't get caught or something?
Huh? Nocentini was the red hot favourite for this stage, so why would he have been in the break?

Just coming on.
44kms to go. Looks harder and not so fine.
Tom Danielson is in the break, which will probably trigger some optimistic posting from Bro.:D

Live coverage here.

Group of 6 away. Looks like Danielson?, Mouncoutie, Coppel, Sicard?

Have they said what the gap is between the break and the peloton? My French is not so good. :p:eek:

It is Sicard. Think the other 2 in the break are Di Gregorio & Gaultier. no idea on the time gap I'm afraid

Yup, correct. And Remy Di Gregorio and Cyril Gautier. Very aggressive ride by Jerome Coppel, who did quite well yesterday, although he was caught by the peloton. He's a talented guy, hopefully he'll develop further this year.

Gap now 17 seconds by the way.

What the hell was that guy wearing on the side of the road? A bird suit? Angel? :D:D:D

BTW: I haven't seen Nocentini in the front. Did something happen to him?

Looks like Le MEvel has this one in the bag.

He must have bonked at some point. He looked spent at the line just now.

I must say, FDJ is off to an excellent start this year.

Le Mevel, Fedrigo, De Waele.

Pretty impressive finish from Fedrigo, after spending 15-20 km in front solo. I suppose Le Mevel takes the overall in front of De Waele. What a tough and beautiful finishing climb by the way

So, I was the only one whose feed stuck just after the kite? Great!
Only caught the last 50 metres, having watched the previous 50km.

The Saxo Bank rider looked like Chris Anker Sørensen to me, but that tall, skinny guy might as well have been Laurent Didier :D

That stinks. I watched the stage from the start, using the link you provided!

Great race and what a tough climb to end with. Given their facial expressions, they seemed to be digging deep. You'll enjoy Mevel's attack!

Not the first time my feed has blown on a major climb!

Well, that filled in the gap in my viewing. FDJ on a roll. Usually, Perrick manages to win by a nose, but not today.
The Sky lads are proving most useful in the video department.

A pity they don't race everywhere!

Nice work by le Mevel and Fedrigo. I know I hope every year that the French will be truly competitive but the last few seasons have made me quietly optimistic
