Apparently Fuglsang is quite upset, that Saxo did not help to close the gap.

Seems like Leo-Trek has a problem accepting, that others make tough tactical decisions when they don't... ever...

Shouldn't have left Saxo then. They're not working for your sorry *** anymore Fugelsnake. It's like they collected a bunch of whiners in that team.

love some of the comments - Google trans

Now you must stop squ Fuglsang.
Now you have been sitting on wheels for 3 weeks in tdf ..
It may well be that SBS had 2 favorites sitting
in your group,,,, but they also had a third favorite
sitting in front !!!!!!! so why the f. .... would they help
you to run them in,,, and secondly, so that owes
SBS non leo-trek ****, on the contrary ..
I soon ****ing tired of listening to all the sob-**** from
leo-trek team, while starting apprentice
Martin Mortensen also to whine now, so he has begun
to evolve in the right direction leo-trek.

Tilgrin
"It's an unwritten rule that they are the ones who take responsibility"
HAHA Fuglsang now you disappointed in the Tour .. Now disappoint you also saw in the Tour of Denmark you can not admit that you are an impulse purchases and therefore you say such a game crap!

Piv Piv
Now your whining so soon stop by the Leopards that. Seemed fact that they are a bunch of Whiners. So there are both one thing and another in the way.
They had sooo busy with Contador in TDF. What about yourself to take responsibility. Of course SBS not run to close the gap when they have three riders who are in the Foreste group. They will not help Fuglsang to win, he must then take responsibility for. So do not squeak like that.

Spout
Is there anything they can to Team Judah, it's crying and crying and stupid excuses .. Pathetic team

I expected more from both. Now they shall have to work for teammates, unless Fuglsang can somehow attack. Rasmussen will want to attack as well. Nice sprint by Modolo but Breschel is not in form and it was not a top notch sprinting field.

So Arnauld Labbe and the Cofidis team car driver got disqualified for holding onto the car? What happened there?

On one of these stages, there's a local circuit with a steep climb in it, which usually splits the field. It's not enough to shake off all good time trialists, but all good time trialists lost time today...

Not quite - Alex Dowsett, European U23 TT champion made the split.....perhaps a dark horse.

I meant all good time trialists who can also climb a little...

Any idea how tough these climbs are? Length? Gradient?

Dowsett can climb a little bit, it's the tough longer climbs where he tends to really struggle. The climbs in Denmark sound like what you get in many parts of England. He's from Essex where the highest point is 147m which is a massive 33m lower than the highest point in Denmark so it can't be that hard surely! I can only imagine the climbs are power ones which he might be able to hang on for.

Definitely a dark horse but by no means a favourite at this stage.

(I'm sorry if I've totally mis-understood the geography of Denmark but I've never been).

going through all the stage profiles, i dont see anything that will cause too much in the way of problems. most of the climbs are pretty short, climbing at most 50m. There may be a few days were select groups maybe gain a few seconds over the final couple of K, but I think it will be won overall by the best timetrailler who can just hang in there each day.

Wind will be the biggest problem

The hills here in Essex are similar, perhaps a bit longer if you search. Alex's local training hill is 80-90m of ascent at a 5% average, 9-10% max, so he should cope. Mind you, pre-tour, Cav was quicker up it. Guess we'll see.

Nah, someone like Breschel should be able to gain enough time on a guy like Dowsett on tomorrow's stage (same finish where he won last year). To quote "mortand" somewhere upthread:

Stage 3 is the Queen stage. The circuit in Vejle is tough, with the 21 % climb up Kiddesvej being the major obstacle. It's a short hill but the three ascents always split the bunch to pieces.

There was no helicopter view and motor riders at the highlights so there's no live coverage on television I suppose.
