I think many casual dont know who he is, he isnt exactly a dude with big results or headlines

Oh, he is from Poland. Thats kinda weird then.

Double edit: I completely misunderstood his post. My bad.

I think he was just disappointed that he missed a Polish 1-2 when he wasn't expecting it (note his location).

Not that i saw it as I've got a big comission this month and was waiting for the really hilly stages

I've heared a lot about Zieliński, but i would definitely not recognize him in the bunch, that a fact. But if i would not know, who Bodnar is then i would not be posting on this forum in the first place. I just tried to convert my anger into sarcazm (it's better to turn anger into a joke than just let it go and hurt somebody). Polish doubles are like winning a lottery and i just missed it in the dumbest way possible. I hope i didn't offend anyone.

I remember, when last year Majka won in Risoul. I was shouting out loud with team Wyrzykowski&Jaroński, but my TV luckly survived without any harm. I'm not the biggest follower of Valverde but i do respect him to today for what he done to Szmyd a couple of years ago on some bald mountain. Sadly i never saw Niemiec beating RoboBasso on Pampeago in Trentino. Interestingly, my emotions of Kwiatkowski winning the rainbow were slightly more mundane than those i had on the Risoul stage.

On the other hand, I'm more a fan of Flowers than the Bee :D

Weather forecast for tomorrow: 32 degrees with the possibility of hail

If Kwiatkowski were in form, he would be up there tomorrow. But I feel there will be a Russian invasion: Zakarin, or possibly Lutsenko.

Time for the big boys to come out and play.Sky train should go strong today to provide the chance for Henao to win this.I'm curious about the shape of Kwiatkowski or Zakarin. If they are in decent enough the last stage makes them favorites for overall.

Btw what is with this 1000 pixels limit?I'm getting tired of converting images :(

I don't have any favourite. i don't care if this is Kwiat, Majka, Niemiec or Kurek. I am a fan of all the polish riders. It was just because the first win after i dunno 6-7 years plus achieved in aa freakin TdF was more emotional for me than the rainbow for Kwiat after Majka winning another TdF stage (Pla d'Adet - Jaskuła) and Niemiec on Covadonga. Of course i value the rainbow higher than two stages and maillot a pois.

Today's stage is a more difficult Zakopane than the ones in recent years. Because of Gubałówka in the last 15 kms there definitely won't be any 60-men peleton sprintfest. If the roads will be wet, then maybe Rutkiewicz will do something interesting. It is over 10 years when he won a stage in TdP. Propably he will work for Davide. Gubałówka is propably too much for Paterski and too little for Hirt. I wonder how Marczyński and Białobłocki will fare. If it was 2012 then Marczyński would be one of the favourites.

these mountains are actually really really easy. If these mountains were in this years giro, they wouldnt even have been categorized :p
Gubałówka could maybe just made the cut and be categorised (only once ofc) as a 3C. I'm not even sure if i can call these hills as mountains. Sure, for polish standards, where even the Świętokrzyskie Mountains are categorised as mountains the hills in Podhale like Głodówka, Ząb or Gubałówka that are around or over 1000m a.s.l. are recognized as mountains. Interestingly if not the Zakopane stage, TdP would never reach 1000m (not that it's significant or sth, it's just a trivia).

Difficulty of climbs depends on how those are ridden. Sure, TdP climbs look rather easy on paper but high temperature and hard tempo can make it really difficult to keep up for most of the riders. I expect finish from smaller group of 20-30 riders.
