Riva is a nice place, but waaay to many German, Austrian (and Dutch) tourists. The food and even the beverages in the restaurants are catering to them (Deutscher Kaffee & Deutsche Küche written at the entrance, no thanks!).
I have to say that the commentary on the PMG livestream isn't bad.
Sorry I'll just go to the beautiful mountaineous part of the Netherlands next time

Who would not prefer a good German coffee to an Italian Espresso? And the German kitchen is famous all over the world for its subtle flavors. :joycat:

Is there any logical reason why De Marchi rode against Dan Martin? It looks to me like Israel have no idea what the hell they're doing.
De Marchi probably had better legs, and we don't know how much Martin was affected by his second crash yesterday. If had been in with a chance to get a higher GC ranking, then they probably would have done it differently. But they don't seem to be tactical masterminds on that team either.

Wasnt very impressed by Ineos ..I know Moscon is going well but the others are neither here nor there

Sosa what is up with him ? He si never the same two days in a row
Martinez looks good but not that good and Shivakov cant stay on his bike
And we hear Bernal still has back problems

TBH, Martinez looked solid. I guess that's the hierarchy of the team. Second stage he soft pedaled to the finish. Fourth stage you know what happened. I guess he understands what his position is at Ineos but I am sure he could have done a lot better.
