not 100% sure, but this is the map to Bocca del Creer (from Avio) on Climbfinder:

the blue cross is San Velentino, the yellow one (with a potential route - they could also go the long way around) Monte Baldo.

Hart seems to have put himself forward as best man for the Giro, although it's worth remembering that UAE & Jumbo are not even in the race. Thomas looks to still be working on his form (as does the next man under Thomas on GC, Pozzovivo !) Bora have been a bit absent, with Bahrain the only competition to Ineos so far. Let's see how a big climb today sorts things out.

Thanks, the profile there matches with the Procyclingstats/ Flamme Rouge one!

Breakaway of the day:

I do rate Milesi as an interesting prospect. Finished 2nd ahead of the one year older Tiberi in the Italian MJ ITT 15 months after starting cycling and was one of the only guys to beat Segart in and ITT last year. Has a big engine (did 414W average in the u23 iTT at the WC) and good recovery, compared to the field he usually gets better on consecutive mountain stages (see last years Tour de l'Avenir where he won the final mountain stages after working for the team leader on the previous stage and the 2021 Baby Giro where he finished well after crashing hard early in the race).

Schönberger yesterday and Pöstlberger today (he'll be hard pressed to "do a Pöstlberger" today) - that's it, my day's complete! 7 minutes too for the break.

Roglic and Remco are the best men for the Giro no matter who participates in the Tour of the Alps.

Fabbro working. He usually needs 1-2 days to find his legs after a training camp at altitude.
they must be hoping it's the same for Vlasov ;). Looked really bad the past two days.

But Hindley didn't do much before the Giro last year either. Maybe that's the way Bora prefers to go into it.

Big Lenny!
Konrad was cooked when he started working, they should have had him work before Fabbro.

Cepeda in some incredible shape. Savio used to call him the mistery man, they would never know whether he would perform or not.
