Well, the biggest teams' strategy appears to be hogging as many top class riders as possible. Tactics and team dynamics, horses for courses? Give it a break already, tis about muscle.

The rationale behind this is, of course, that if such riders are sitting on your bench, they cannot attack your riders on the road.

An Ardennes rider? They've got Uran and Gerrans. That's more quality than a lot of teams.

Gerrans is off to GreenEdge and even though Uran finished 5th in LBL this year, he is still a bit young and inexperienced to be called an Ardennes rider.

Oh true, that I forgot. Then I agree that an Ardennes rider would be of good use
However, I do think that Uran is one of the more promising Ardennes riders, and he has already shown (a) good result there. He's also very good in the Canadian GP's as well as GdL.
