Hadn't heard that, but very good news for Bellis if true. A full year of actual racing - and racing a decent calendar - will do him the world of good.

That does seem a good programme for him... what about Eneco or Beligum? I could see him doing alright in one of those.

at 60 kg dripping wet I doubt it

Yeah, I'm sure his trade team will build his season around playing domestique for Australian pipe dreams.

He adds a new string to the Lampre bow - what Kash was ment to but didn´t can climb can help boots and little prince but can get his own results especially results 2013 when boots will be 112 .

Still makes me wonder why Lotto sacked him, didn't Damiani recently came over from Lotto?

Roberto Damiani want to return in Italy . Thats why he leaves Lotto . If im not making a mistake when he came to Lampre-ISD , he has one more year of a contract with Lotto . But he dont want to stay with Lotto for a year , and he want to abandon Lotto as soon as possible . And i dont know too why Lotto released Lloyd . Matthew is a good domestique . And now Damiani which knows him since Omega Pharma - Lotto time picked him up . In a face of Lloyd Scarponi will receive a good domestique .

As far as I know there haven't been hard feelings between Damiani and Lotto. I think Lotto let him go willingly after the Lampre doping debacle got a bit out of hand because Damiani wanted to change Lampre.

He could go well at Belgium and Eneco, now that Gilbert will probably try prepare for the Vuelta as well. He has an ok ITT as well. However most racers are in good form by then and they are lower key events. Austria/ Poland would be more challenging for him and maybe more indicative of the actual WC course. Canada would be good as he can fine-tune his form whilst also competing against the likely main contenders that shall go to the worlds.

Damiani only worked for Lotto during the early stages of the year. I doubt he would of been apart of the decision to fire him though he probably had an idea of that there was a bit of trouble with Lloyd and Lotto.

I really like contador but I think you are such ---editd by mod--- that I almost start to hope contador gets suspended just to see your reaction and see how hypocrite you will be, that contador was screwed etc and he should be let back in a big team unlike all the others who you hate with no regard. if I hated doping so much and my favorite rider was so up in his heels into doping cases I would shut my mouth about it I think. I believe he is innocent and think he's a great rider but the way you act you are the biggest hypocrite in belgium and as you know that is against pretty big competition

You're ---ediyed by mod--- [mistaken] to think that wasn't a joke.

I'll tell you my reaction now already if Contador gets banned: I wouldn't give a shit :D

And lol if you think Contador didn't dope.

Well, more to the point: greenedge says something about Austria being better preparation for the Worlds than Eneco, because it's more indicative of the Worlds course... when the Eneco Tour actually takes place on some of the roads of the Worlds.

Hah, didn't even notice that. Good point. Hopefully they'll include the Cauberg a little bit closer to the finish now, that would be great. To actually have 2 decent hilly stages in the race instead of just one.

All I said in those threads was that they should ride a year for a Pro Conti team. I want the same for Contador if he gets banned. No hypocrisy in there. Of course you can't imagine me saying that because I'm a fan of him, but that's your problem and not mine. I think it should be a general rule yes.
