According to an article on procycling.no it seems like Ballan is staying at BMC next year. Can you imagine what their RVV team could look like?

Gilbert
Hushovd
Ballan
Hincapie
Burghardt
Quinziato
Phinney
Van Avermaet*

Wow that looks like a very strong line up....bring on the cobbles......

33-year-old Japanese (34 in February) Takashi Miyazawa has signed with Saxo Bank (announced at the Japan Cup presentation).

Another excellent signing by Riis...

That's both very interesting news.

So Saxo Bank's transfers (so far):

In

JUUL JENSEN Christopher < Glud & Marstrand - LRØ
KROON Karsten < BMC Racing Team
LUND Anders < Leopard - Trek
MARGALIOT Ran < SaxoBank - Sungard (Trainee)
PAULINHO Sergio Miguel Moreira < Team RadioShack
PIRES Bruno Manuel Silva < Leopard - Trek
VINTHER Troels Ronning < Glud & Marstrand - LRØ
MIYAZAWA Takashi < Farnese Vini - Neri Sottoli

Out

BELLIS Jonathan > ???
COOKE Baden > GreenEdge Cycling
DIDIER Laurent > Radioshack - Nissan - Trek
LARSSON Gustav Erik > Vacansoleil - DCM
PORTE Richie > Sky Professional Cycling Team

No improvement at all. Riis doesn't have any money.

We all know Contador runs the team now, how's that news? :D

Oh, and apparently he needs an extra helper despite the fanboys telling that he can win without a team.

What do you think he did in the 2011 Giro?

Apparently Miyazawa is an attacking, aggressive ridev - maybe Riis' is kinda looking up to Vacansoleil? (Majka, CA Sørensen, Boaro, Marycz & Tanner are also offensive-minded, but maybe that's just because of lack of skills?)

SaxoBank is becoming more and more of a boring team, but I guess we've just been accustomed with the biggest outsiders on "our" Danish team.

Can we please get just ONE creamy cake along with all those dry cookies, Bjarne? :(

Cobo to Saxo Bank, unofficial only verbal so far.

would be the best possible outcome for cobo, when he has a strong leader he only grows better. see tour 2008 with ricco
