Flecha, Valls, Marczynski, Lagutin, Ruijgh, Hoogerland. How many do you need?
You even forgot the potentially best one, Poels.

Vacansoleil are a strange team. All these riders are pretty good individually, but none of them are great. And none of them really get them a lot of points.

I did not forget him, but cannot imagine him to be a helper. He is their main prospect for the future. You are right: lots of decent riders, but no great rider.

So currently Larsson, Carrara, Denifl, Lagutin and Marczynski are either out or unknown for next season....
Whouldnt the existing Spanish connection with Flecha and Valls make sense to have someone like Velasco or Txurruka fit in the team..

Or are senior members the only ones who can speculate ;)

Everyone can speculate. I just think these transfers won't happen and don't necessarily make a lot of sense (to me). Of course, I can be wrong.

According the latest reports in the Netherlands, he is coming along quite nicely and hopes to be back on the bike this week after a new CT-scan to check healing of the internal damage done. Apparently he still has some "extra tubing" inside him to disburden his injured kidney but other than that he himself stated to be quite happy with his recovery.

Regards
GJ

don't know what to say because i have no idea what it's inside rujanito's head...but i suspect that this giro really was an accident, probably one of those medical stories we'll never read about.i wish him good luck though.

He's going to the new Swiss pro-conti team IAM

Good for him. He has been really disappointing since his return from injury in the last two years.

He'll surely be the leader for the cobbled classics and the team should get the invitations.
