In his first 2 seasons with Sky Barry rode Gent-Wevelgem, Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne, E3, Dwars door Vlaanderen, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad twice, RVV and Paris-Roubaix twice. His experience will certainly be missed.

Absolutely, but he didn't ride any classics this year and they coped somehow. I doubt he'd play any role in catching Boonen at PR :p

True, and on his own they could easily cope without him. I worry about the consequences of losing three such experienced riders in one go though.

They have potential but in Flecha, Hunt and Barry they have lost three very experienced riders. They still have Hayman but they need another experienced dom/road captain in the team

They do have Eisel.

Didnt Vanmarcke want reassurances about being leader. Not going to happen with EBH and Thomas in the team.

Is there a list of riders whos contracts are still undecided anywhere?

Vanmarcke wants to be on a team where he will have the opportunity to lead in the classics but he doesn't want full leadership because he doesn't want to be under pressure to deliver in the classics, co-leading with someone else would probably be the best option for him.

But with Sky losing Flecha and signing guys like Cataldo, Dombrowski, and Locke they seem to be moving further away from the cobbled classics and moving more towards the stage races. I don't think Sky care as much about the cobbled classics anymore.

I don't know why you're talking about Eisel in Sky's roster.

He's following Cavendish to whereever he goes. (probably OPQS)

and I don't really know where als that bashing on Rasch comes from, he is a good classics rider, he will surely be in their team for Paris Roubaix

Yep :p But to my knowledge Sky thought he'd be better rider. More promising. Simple as that.

However, he might sign for 1-year. Just to add numbers, because if Sky struggle to recruit 2 more riders if Cav leaves - they might struggle to put full squad in few races as they did this year :p

Knees, Eisel, Hayman, Puccio, EBH, Thomas, Stannard & Rasch would be expetced cobbled squad right now.

Rowe & Sutton would be rotated in at some points too ( KBK etc. )

It's decent suqad. Not winning material, but strong for Top 5 at Ronde / Roubaix and with few cards to play. Hayman / Eisel do ala Van summeren 2011 PR. And EBH seems to be improved finally. So it will be definitely interesting year for sky at classics.

I don't really get that. Dowsett had a pretty promising neo pro-season and his second season was largely wrecked by injury. Notably he was still able to come back and finish 8th in the worlds TT.

I'm sure Sky offered him a pretty good contract especially as there aren't exactly many Brits in the WT peloton. If he's leaving then it will be because another team has offered him an even better contract or because he's not happy there (or a combination of both like Steve Cummings joining BMC).

Plus, Rogers been unhappy with Wiggins a bit. Not going go into details but before the Tour Rogers was 100% to sign extension, after the Tour not so.

Why can't you go into details?

Anyway, he was at Wiggins' yellow ball bash last night doing a Q&A with Brailsford so he can't be that unhappy.

That can't be true. Ryo assured all of us that both of the Haedo brothers had contracts with Saxo for next year.

Sounds like Riis has spent all of his dosh so Saxo are vulnerable to not getting a WT license.
Actually, I was positive that they had renewed their contracts as well. I hope they won't stay.

Bjarne Riis have the money he needs to build up and if he can get a point rich rider he have what is needed, the problem with JJ and bro is that they are not good enough so Riis wont pay any more six years are enough.

The only reason JJ where on the team this year where clearly only lack of other riders and cash.

A place I think JJ would look good is on one of the French teams or Caja Rual and hope he will end on either Europe Car or Caja.

The bank garanty for Leopard S.A. (holder of the license) was given for 4 years, so they can go on at least another 2 years, even without a sponsor

Is the bank guarantee to the UCI the same as having the operating budget available?

I think he's best of at an Italian or Spanish team so he can do giro or vuelta and have a slightly better chance of a stage win.

If he's willing to take a step down, well degenkolb could use a leadout man.
