I don't think Saxo is looking for another domestique for Aberto. They need somebody to help them score sporting points for the UCI rating

Oh yeah.. super domestique it should be. :) one that can be in front long enough on the climbs to really be helpful. Enough of those helpers who are two minutes down the slope shouting: " I am here for you Alberto.. wait wait"

Could be Linus Gerdemann.

Oh crap. That would be the ultimate disappointment

No, you would be surprised. He was super when he joined Riis from May 2005, and now could be like Jalabert: join Riis at one point in the career when it´s not going too well any more, and Riis can improve you again to your old level. He did that with several riders, Jalabert, Jaksche, ... . Linus will be quite cheap now what salary is concerned, could be great for both sides, Gerdemann and Saxo.

the only reason riis achieved that was by blooddoping his riders, same with gerdemann when he became pro there. he hasn't improved a single rider(much) since 2006.

I'm thinking it will be Linus or Levi. Whatever team Levi goes to it will probably be one that can get into Cali, Saxo would fulfill that. But he probably costs more than Linus, so he might be too expensive for Saxo. To bad we don't know how much money Saxo has left. That could gives us some clues as to who it is.
