This transfer season is becoming utterly ridiculous. Both Moreno and Navarro to Cofidis? Seriously!?!?

No, just a ****-up by 1 website. Look at it: 2 Dani's, they did not publish an "article" about Navarro (which has been confirmed by several parties), but did publish one about Moreno, where his name appears only once.gustienordic said:This transfer season is becoming utterly ridiculous. Cimber said:U forget the "medium bit names" who can make a top 10 or 15 in GTs (which gives point) or get top 5 or something in other WT races. Its pretty clear that both Fuglsang and Kreuziger are being left out for that reason (Bruynell even admitted that)
Dutchsmurf said:But how likely are Fuglsang or Kreuziger to score points anyway, even if they rode? Even if they did, it wouldn't be many points at all. And besides, as team manager you should be aware of who signed for you for next year and who hasn't. It doesn't matter if you know which team they are on next year as long as you know it isn't yours. In my opinion Riis isn't announcing any medium/big names, because he didn't sign any. Whoever he has signed might have an outside shot at some points, but nothing more than that. Now he might pull a Cancellara out of his hat, but I doubt it.

Fidolix said:It don´t matter how many points or lack of it they could earn, the point is, they are left out of all WT races because of it, either you like it or not.
And Riis said he had signed contracts but will not announce any because of the same reason, -the possibility they will be banned by their teams, just like Fuglsang and Vanmarcke been, and ruin rest of their season just because of it.
And you can´t change the fact either both DS have giving this reason to the public media to why they can´t race more WT races rest of the season.
Infact it´s very easy to understand, and logic.
roundabout said:Kreuziger won't ride any WT races this year. This is already known by everyone, so why not announce him or at least not use it as an excuse not to announce him.
Miburo said:Would be dumb. Team will also ride for Sagan. And letting Moser his first GT be the tour is also not smart. Or is he riding the vuelta this year? Would be too early if that's the case.

Adding to a pretty good roster for stage races with Coppel, Navarro and also Taaramae of course. Increased budget for next year?
The Hitch said:Daniel Moreno.
Hugo Koblet said:Really? How did I miss that? That's an amazing signing for Cofidis!
Oh ok, that makes a hell of a lot more sense.el chava said:I believe that was a error by the website (don't remember which one). Daniel Navarro signed, not Daniel Moreno. Still good signings for Cofidis.
AntonioRossi said:very surprising to see Liquigas letting Duggan go. But great signing for spidertech nonetheless
I don't think having Timmy Duggan will help them get a WT license. But he's a good rider for the American circuit of course.Strathlubnaig said:Yes, a good signing for Spidertech right enough, it bodes well for Bauers ambitions to get a world tour licence in the next few years, the extended sponsor deal probably helped Duggan's decision.
