Bianchi- Alpecin to takeover Vacansolei, this guy being involved, you heard it here first.:D

I like the colour of the jersey but the orange does not match.

Schlecks were also rumoured to set up a team with Alpecin last year, who knows?

That was a ridiculous PR story, created by Alpecin, using the Tour as a platform. I already said this when these rumours came out in July 2012.

Alpecin never could take over a WT team, just lack of money. Not even Vacansoleil. And never sign an Andy Schleck.

I thought so too but as Bavarianrider suggested it could be as a co-sponsor. But I agree I also think it is very unlikely

Co-sponsor would be possible, as the maximum. Or stepping in as a personal sponsor, as they did with Ludewig at Domina Vacenze, T-Mobile and Wiesenhof. But for who?

Makes sense as long as he understands 'leader' means being the last person asked to help with the train.

Can't see any logic to give him much active support - at the Tour a 5-10 placing would be a very good result for Uran - not worth sacrificing multiple stage wins for.

Would seem strange but then a lot of teams will support someone for GC and someone for stages. I guess it'd just mean that he wouldn't get many dedicated domestiques and would have to make do with what was offered. Could always piggy back on other trains though.

Perhaps Bianchi will switch to orange bikes

Wait, is Alpecin that caffeine shampoo? I thought their logo was red? Would also look terrible though.

I really like it. I think the orange is a nice contrast.

I can't help but smile when I see Jan. :)

Hmm was expecting him at a world tour team, he is the best U23 italian so far this year imo.

I would choose Androni over Lampre any day if I want to develop myself!

Maybe, guess Zordan can be the replacement of Felline who is probably leaving. Zordan will also be an intern at Androni starting august 2013.

If Uran signs for OPQS is he going to be early lotto Evans, fending for himself, but not having to do work for the sprinter, or more HTC Siustou, Rogers, Kirchen, Monfort? These guys have finished top 10 of GTs but were still pulled into the train.

Team Sky is interested in Lars Boom, Greenedge wants to sign Slagter.

That would be a Cyclingnews forum gem, Boom and EBH on the same team

That's hilarious, they want another overrated classics rider with no endurance? :p

I'm not so sure they'd be on the same team if Boom goes to Sky though...

Didn't EBH sign a contract extension last year?

Boom does have the endurance, BTW. Sometimes. He's a rider with flashes of brilliance, amid utter mediocrity.

AT least Boom is capable of doing a good Paris Roubaix, unlike EBH

Anyway, I think they both could be at the same time. And that possibly would mean that EBH would stop focusing on cobbles, something he's clearly not that good at ?
