if uran wants to do the tour, he will do the tour. simple as that. in fact he even wants another colombian rider to assist him.

Where do you get this information from Ryo? I like your insight into colombian cyclin but as a relative newcomer it's hard to tell if you have genuine inside information on these things or just voice biased opinions with far too much conviction.

uff cn.com and it's rules I have no bad intentions. where I'm from that's not an insult

I also don't think it truly is an insult, but you would be surprised at how sensitive some people are on this forum. Just check the mods thread :p

Oh and in the lights of recent discoveries you might have been totally right in your assessment of that poster :p

I think we all know the state of play with money vs role in the team. The more money you get the less you care about the results. Sometimes the amount of money makes up for lack of opportunity, sometimes it doesn't.
Uran will ride whatever he wants, including him in any GT team for Quikstep isn't really hurting anything. Take one or even two guys out of a train when Argos and Lotto should be doing work also shouldn't create a problem.
Still Quikstep would ideally like a super domestique for Uran, with the number of solid colombians around and Euskaltel folding tomorrow, I'm sure they'll pick up someone.

Edit: cycling fever rumour brajkovic to orica, WTF?

I have a lot of isnide information regarding colombians, but not uran. although I know h said he wants to do the tour in free role. so I'm sure he will ride it

You're probably right but how do you get the information? Do you know the riders or is it from reading Colombian news?

mostly via a very good friend. I rather not say more, not because I want to make it sound special or anything. but he tell me all and I tell only very few things here that aren't too important.

Monfort to Lotto? As a domestique, or as a leader?

Also, Bracki to OGE? WTF?

Would probably be domestique for JVDB for races like the Tour (assuming he goes), but there's enough races that he could probably get the chance to lead in a few races. Lotto don't have a ton of climbers.

Could be a leader for Giro/Vuelta with JVDB to ride the TDF, Vanendert is the only other climber they have, and he is not a stage racer.

Monfort would be a very good signing the more I think about it. Would give Lotto something other then breakaway's to fall back on in the Giro-Vuelta. And Give Monfort the chance to lead instead of having to domestique. Have always liked Monfort and thought he was capable of more then what he's done so far.

Why? He's had many chances to ride for himself in the directionless shambles that is Team RadioShack.

He was also the highest placed at the tdf for RSLT this year - plus he's has a 6th in the Vuelta in his palmares. I think it would be a good move for him. Plus he's got quite a few top 10s in stage races. Perhaps Lotto will start to be more noticeable outside of select few races.

Anyway, actual transfer news: Belkin sign Nick van der Lijke, an espoir from Rabo U23. A bit of a leftover I guess, since the biggest talents were already signed, but maybe he could turn out to be a surprise.

He still has some decent results:

1st in Kreiz Breizh Elites, 2nd in Tour de Bretagne behind Zoidl, 6th in the U23 Ronde, & 3rd in the Tour de Gironde
