Giant Alpecin, Team Sky, MTN-Qhubeka, BMC, IAM Cycling, Etixx-Quick Step and Cannondale-Garmin are all talking to Cam Meyer. A part from BMC they all have Sprinters he could be a great lead out man for. Plus I'm sure he'd do good work for Froome/Landa at Sky or TJVG/Porte at BMC.

We need to read through agent's "sales talk" a bit here. These are clearly the teams whom he has "shopped" Meyer to; as to whether any or some have actually expressed serious interest may be another matter.

I could most certainly see Meyer finding a WT team home but it will be primarily as a "grunt" worker with very limited opportunities to ride for himself. Maybe TdU, maybe another non WT one week race but that's about it.

He DOES bring a big engine to do long spells on the front; he's a good ITTer (but probably hasn't progressed as well as expected in this field); he's a very strong asset for teams wanting a top-line TTT; he has the engine to potentially go to the finish in a breakaway; his climbing is far from elite but potentially useful for at least medium climbs & lower slopes of major climbs.

A major downside is his tendency to ride poor position when not on the front .... or off the front.

Sylvain Chavanel to the new Europcar. They found a new, French sponsor according to Bernaudeau.

Great news!

Apart from Chavanel, whatever Europcar is next year are bringing through Lilian Calmejane, Fabien Grellier, Romain Cardis and Jeremy Cornu, all currently with Vendee U. The latter two were stagiaires at Europcar last year.

Probably just a rumour but read a post on twitter that suggested Nieve was in talks with Tinkoff for next season.

And Svein Tuft stays with OGE for 2016.
With Mouris and Meyer leaving that's probably a good idea. Now OGE has a legit sprinter, they need tow motors and using Hepburn and Durbridge solely for this would be a waste.

Would have preferred Meintjes stay at MTN to help them. He had a good future there but he do has to look after his best interests and he'll be able to now race in better races than he would at MTN.

Meyer reportedly having 7 teams interested in him is interesting. Hopefully he doesn't go to Sky.

Mentjes to Lampre-Merida
Worst decision this transfer window.

Am tending to agree, Lampre has been pretty directionless in recent times. A few talented riders but arguably not getting the support needed for them to obtain optimum results.

Re Meintjes, probably the best WT option may've been OGE
