Chris Sutton looking for a team. I'm a bit surprised that he seemingly can't get one. While he's never developed into a top sprinter, you'd have to think that he's still a better rider than a lot of guys with WT or PC contracts. The guy has won K-B-K and a Vuelta stage and he's not all that old.

And what has he done in the last 4 years?

Good lead out work mostly, could be a useful lead out man for a sprinter.

Orica maybe for the young Ewan?

Very rumors linked to Lampre, Roglic , Betancur etcc

Bruno Pires from tinkoff, he´s leaving, he had some offers , but he not signed yet.

Edward Beltran to a italian team , again maybe Lampre?

Betancur announced recently on his Instagram-account that he would join a big WT team, can't imagine he would mean Lampre.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HChzRB8h6LU
Betancur used to be pretty decent at Aqua & Sapone. If Lampre brings him and his family to Italy where some team members are already located as well as sign a pal for him from Coldeportes to look after him in Colombia, it could work. He needs sweatmeat and the horsewhip as we say in German. And he should never feel lonely.

Betancur, Polanc, maybe Roglic or Durasek, a Colombian pal looks like a solid addition to the Modolo Giro squad.

Replacement for Wippert in Drapac?

They would be better supporting Jones who is quick than bringing in Sutton as a main sprinter, maybe as a leadout/road captain like Brown has been this season but you'd think Sutton would be more ambitious after years with Sky and the GT Focus

Why? Docker is doing a good job already.

I thought maybe to strengthen his sprinttrain.

Brendan Canty (Budget Forklifts) sign on with Drapac for 2 years, this guy has come a long way in a short time and has alot of upside.
He's also just a really nice guy so best of luck
Drapac are quietly building a decent squad, it's certainly well ahead of what they had two years ago, even with the loss of Wippert. They should be targeting more US and midsize European stage races with the likes of Kohler, Norris, Earle etc now.

Wippert was a big loss but he did a great job for the squad getting some important wins and deserved the opportunity to go WT. Norris is steadily improving and they are making some smart signings without going after a bigger name, I had my doubts about Drapac heading back upto PCT level but they seem to be doing a good job. The Amercian market is important for Micheal Drapac and with how they have performed this season they should get the invites again to all the U.S stage races and with Earle, Norris, Mannion they can pick of stages and top 10's in the GC, I think Earle could do really well next year as he was coming on quickly before getting signed for Sky where in reality he was never going to do well

So Trek's final roster is 25? There is no roster limit yet is there? Just drives me nuts, Sargent, DVP, Jungles all just let go. How Luca has a job is beyond me.

Minimum is 26, I believe...

I'm not certain but I think the minimum is 23. Euskaltel had 23 in 2012 and that's the lowest number I can remember a World Tour team having.

I'm not surprised at all. Sadly he had regressed into one of the weakest riders in the WT yet alone at Sky. He's basically done absolutely nothing results wise for four years. At best, he could be a lead out rider at Pro Conti level. He was lucky to stay at Sky for so long, especially when he's lasted as long as stronger riders like Pate and Siutsou.

It helps when your uncle is Shane Sutton.
