So not much WT Team News anyone got any idea who still have room to sign new riders ?
Rumours ??

I guess Brajkovic is still rumored to Bahrain? Apparantly there a couple of vacant spots there.
Miles Scotson was rumored to BMC for a while, currently they are at 27 riders which is two less than this year.
I am surprised that the new TJ Sports project hasn't signed any more for now. I was of the impression that the new sponsors brought a lot of funding.

That is how Copeland runs his business. Always late season signings. He probably gets a lot of desperate riders at a major discount by signing them late.
Brent Copeland is no longer Lampre's manager.

But he is at Bahrain.

Yes, but I don't think Jancouver was referring to the Bahrain part of the quoted post.

You are correct, I was referring to Lampre without realizing he was gone. Perhaps that's how they roll at Lampre and it wasn't Copeland after all :D

Koshevoy found a team (I'll get my coffee) on PCT level, he hasn't announced which one yet tho.

I've got this feeling that it might just be cycling academy

Naah like I posted when I posted the news Wilier - Selle Italia (Southeast)
As he now follows Wilier on twitter and Luca Amoriello, Sport Director of Wilier.. but yea suppose it could be cycling academy ;)

They've signed many young Italian prospects and they've improved the team, when it comes to one day races Swift is an upgrade from Cimolai (he could also be a part of Modolo's train), they've got Guardini to win stages in all the Asian races for the new sponsor and Atapuma as a stagehunter for the Giro. Marcato and Laengen are also good signings, if you look at all the great Italian prospects/neopros that they have it really looks like a long term prospect, Saronni also said that they didn't want to sign old riders just for the points (a jab at Copeland and Bahrain Merida).

I wonder if he would stick to that if there was a serious threat of not getting a WT license for his team.
Probably not, is was just a jab at Copeland.
Are there any rumours about Paolini returning after his ban?
His ban should end at the start of January, if he's willing to return he could probably get a contract.

My understanding is Miles Scotson will probably sign with BMC and Callum Scotson is a chance for the BMC Development team.

Ballan has been free to race since January this year, but no-one took him. And he just turned 37 while Paolini is soon to be 40!

Looks like I strike again with my prediction about the Scotson brothers, though wasn't 100% certain whether Callum would get a gig with the BMC Development team - Anyway will be interesting to see how Miles Scotson performs - Has signed for a suitable team, but doesn't scream out WT rider.

Ballan didn't find a team due to MPCC rules, i don't think Paolini will be affected (cocaine it's not doping).
Anyway he never said that he want to ride again after the ban.
