I keep seeing references to Greg Henderson retiring. Is there any source for this?

Heard today that Thwaites has signed for a WT team for next season. Deserves it.

Well, staying at Bora would get him to the WT too.

He said it multiple times in the winter, but a few weeks ago he said that he wants to do an extra year. He's hoping for a new offer from the team. Don't know if Sergeant is keen on keeping him though. He didn't show a lot this year (also due to injuries but still).

I wonder if Orica would have him. They took McEwen, Cooke and O'Grady in their first season.

I think he will stay eventually. Greipel will probably put some pressure on the team.

He had interest from a handful of WT teams and some very good offers, so pretty safe bet he is on his way

PIty. He'd have made a very useful classics lieutenant for Sagan.

That's a really good signing for Orica, another climber to help out Chaves/Yates. Also helpful that he's Spanish and could get along well with Chaves.
That looks like the plan. To White and Stephens' credit, they seem to be good at picking up promising young riders under the radar - Chaves, Yates x2, Cort and Juul-Jensen all seem to be thriving and really enjoying themselves as well. It would also be good for Verona that Stephens and White are very fluent in Spanish, along with a fair few of the riders.

Lefevre has good reason not to be happy though. Verona looks like he's worth investing in from the little we've seen.

Doubt it as a rider, maybe as a DS though.

According cyclingweekly König choosed to leave Sky for Bora.

I told you that weeks ago !!!

With Bora spending most of their budget on Sagan and they will have Majka but I cannpt see any other big GC riders so Konig will get a chance to lead that he has not got at SKY. Possibly the Giro next year as Majka is targetting the Tour
I wonder if SKY are happy to let him go...well they are getting Rosa

Stephens lives permanently in the Basque country and is treated as a local. Has a close connection with the kunior cyclins scene and likely to be 1 or 2 young Spanish cyclists join in the upcoming years.

I accept your point and add Plaza and Albasini to the oldies group... but Bewley isn't even 30 yet! ;)

Sorry confusing Bewley with Albasini. And I forgot about Plaza.

Haven't we already had several announced?
I mean those switching between WT teams, that are only allowed to be announced since the 1st of August.
