Landa potentially going to Movistar and Castro potentially going to Sky made me laugh. They are two of the most similar teams, what is the reason to switch between them?

I guess they enjoy the top end equipment like skinsuits and other minor tech/support benefits that you wouldn't get with a lower budget WT team?

Alaphilippe stays with Lefevre as do Gaviria and Richeze

Looks like Lefevre's found a sponsor
one newspaper wrote it indeed :
I was myself thinking about 20 or 30 seconds to someone like Porte and Froome...

but another newspaper said that Lefevre denied it later today... well the fact that the 3 above mentioned riders stay says enough normally...

Roelandts rumored to leave Lotto Soudal and go to BMC or Bahrain.

might be good to leave Lotto to breath some fresh air...
With Gallopin and Roelandts rumored to leave, Lotto will have to restructure their Classics squad.

They havent delivered either lately, so thats fine. I am hoping Benoot will have a breakthrough year next year, that would be great for Lotto which is a team I like since they are racing very aggressively in general. Maybe Wellens can do great also.

What happened? Did he destroy the competition in the Italian Championships for amateurs à la Jungels?
Wrecked the Androni squad in the Giro dell'Appennino, just rode away for Torres, Bernal and Cattaneo and finished 8th on gc in the Giro del Trentino. Last year he already finished 17th in Trentino as a first year neopro.
He only started cycling when he was 17/18 years old and from 2013-2015 he got some good results as an amateur before turning pro: http://firstcycling.com/rider.php?r=32032&y=2015

He's only 27. Still a healthy 15 years before he reaches his peak and wins the Vuelta.
