I know we usually have a retirements thread, but I guess at this point it's a transfer issue because it shows a squad place and salary being freed up.

In addition to Quinziato (BMC)...

van den Broeck (NL-Jumbo) [who is even ending his contract a year early] http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/van-den-broeck-to-retire-at-end-of-2017-season/

Tiralongo (Astana) [one less reason for Aru to stay at Astana?] http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/giro-ditalia-tiralongo-to-retire-at-season-end-news-shorts/

Voeckler (Direct Energie) [who will retire after the Tour] http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/voeckler-to-retire-at-the-end-of-2017-tour-de-france/

Jempy Drucker (BMC) and Julien Vermote (Quick Step) are close to AG2R-La Mondiale to support Oliver Naesen next year and Lawrence Naesen (WB Veranclassic Aqua Protect) Oliver's brother, could join AG2R-La Mondiale also in 2019.

Pozzovivo could join the Bahrain-Merida team alongside Nibali.

Attention to AG2R in 2018 ...
Romain Bardet with Pierre Latour and Mathias Frank for the Mountain
Tony Gallopin for the classics (Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège)
Oliver Naesen with Stijn Vandenbergh, Jempy Drucker, Julien Vermote and Lawrence Neasen for the classics (Dwars Door Vlaanderen, Record Bank E3 Harelbeke, Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders Fields, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix)
And all the other cyclists who already have a contract ...
If Bryan Coquard (I find it difficult) join AG2R in 2018, watch out for them

Jens Keukeleire To Lotto Soudal

Source?

Not a surprise if true.

If I remember correctly that tweet is based on an article stating that Lotto Soudal is an option for Keukeleire, but that he likes to stay at Orica (with the new sponsor). With Roelandts probably leaving Keukeleire is the obvious choice, but it isn't confirmed.

Refusing to deal with agents is a sure sign of an exploitative boss. We are all a family here, our team runs on trust, agents cause division etc always translates as "I do not like it when my employees try to make their negotiating position more equal".
