Looks like AC is staying.
Since you're smarter than I am, can you explain to me why AC might stay?
A few have transferred into Astana.
I defer to your superior knowledge and intelligence to explain this one to me.
Maybe this was addressed earlier. I don't really keep up with the CN forums.
AC is staying because there is ambiguity surrounding the clause recently adopted by the UCI stating that if a team failed to submit the essential documents by October 20th, then a rider could terminate his contract. The ambiguity is whether the clause applies to ALL rider contracts, or just those entered into after July 2009 (when the clause was adopted). Instead of fighting in court, he's apparently made the decision to see out the remainder of his contract. All assuming that Astana has a ProTour license for 2010, which is very much up in the air at this moment.
My comment was in response to your earlier allegation that NO ONE WANTED TO RIDE WITH AC. I was simply pointing out that no one had any idea what was going on with Astana and that wasn't a reflection on AC. I stand by my original point. It is only within the last month or six weeks that Astana has gotten serious about things.
Im going to put you down for an epic fail. Next time re-read your own posts before talking sh*t.
