Morton will be new race leader.

Great stage, was awesome to see Sagan attack in the end. And great rides by Craddock, Morton, and Frank.

bravo frank, but sagan, what a ride today, has he attacked a little bit earlier, he might have been able to hold the leaders jersey, if I saw it correctly, he came only 12s after frank, and it was 40s on top, also, however, don't forget about morton, i think he made it under 5s behind frank, in that case, he would take the yellow, really looking forward for tomorrow. I want to see Sagan giving it all and not giving up for once, just to see how he really is.

So all set for another BMC implosion á la Tour of Utah, all the best placed men and no winner.

I dunno about that. TJVG must have some form, given that he was the only alleged GC rider who could hold Sagan's wheel. Surely there's enough climbing for him to get rid of Sagan at some point and there's a TT. So who are we expecting to beat him?

His name is Gregory Brenes, not "Obando".

And he's a well-rounded rider. Used to be a good prospect back when he rode for Burgos in 2010 but he stagnated, largely because he didn't have access to good races anymore.

Thanks, looks like his name is wrong just about everywhere (ProCyclingStats etc). Anyway hopefully he can make a good result.

Brenes was in the Movistar continental team in 2011-2012. He was pretty good in the Vuelta a Colombia in 2011, I seem to remember. Unfortunately last year the team downsized from a continental team to a Colombian domestic team due to sponsor decisions, and Brenes lost out.

I always thought Morton is the next big thing, but he was pretty invisible in past two years, so I'm glad to see he is doing so well recently.

Hope to see him riding Giro or Vuelta next year. Not sure he will show much, though. Garmin's young talents seem to take it easy in their first GT appearances.
