Odds based on Strade Bianche's result?

Froome won't. Actually it was Miburo who suggested they would crash out.

Froome is already down.

Nibali can maybe pull it off.

Froome out. Now if Contador crashed or gets sick and Quinana does likewise, Nibali may well win yet another stage race. Remarkable.

There is no doubt in my mind that Froome saw SB and realised that Nibalis form is so excellent that there is no reason to even show up for TA.

:D I like your posts...I don't know if I've ever seen one that made any sense. :p :)

nah mate. I just performed an extremely scientific study last year that gave me the answer that Nibali is the awesomest and bestest gt rider in the world. The study involved a lot of very complicated math, so I wont bore you with the details, but trust me. All my opinions are grounded in science

Your posts are very high on the entertainment level. I sense that many of them are tongue-in-cheek which is good because we need more humor in the world. They are also evident of your passion for the sport and for anything linked to Vino, an area in which you are quite consistent.

Keep up the good work!:)

Some thoughts from the shark before TA, courtesy caferoubaix:

What are your thoughts before Tirreno-Adriatico?

I always start a race with the desire to give all that I have, so let?s hope it will be enough. The Monte Terminillo stage will be tough, but not decisive. There?s also stage four, which has a rolling terrain, with some interesting climbs and descents, that will give the riders plenty of opportunities to attack.

? Who will be your main rivals?

Without any doubt, Chris Froome (ed. ? in the meantime, Froome has withdrawn because of health problems) and Alberto Contador, but although they had a previous encounter in a hard-fought Ruta del Sol, I don?t think they?ll have an upper hand on me.

Interesting.

meh. Nibali is just giving the journalists what they want. If he peaks this spring it will be for LBL. If he was to win here, it just simply means that his base form is on a much higher level than his adversaries. I't wouldn't suprise me if he won, but he might just as well slow pedal into a top 5.

Yeah, clearly Nibali will be in similar or better shape than Contador, who came close to Horner's record on Hazallanas

Fleur, you do know he's just joking in every post? He won't admit it but he knows it's nonsense, some people post here to be funny which is their right.

Froome and Contador aren't peaking for anything other than Tour and Giro/Tour. Being able to drop pretenders like bad habits even when not peaking is indicative of their elite ability. Not saying you can't perform at high level at only a specific race, showing nothing anywhere else, of course. That seems to be what Vinlanco is about these days. :)

My post was a reply to Nibali's comments actually, I hadn't seen Vino attacks everyone's post

Nibali looks very thin, but I don't expect any outstanding performance from him until it get closer to the Tour.

Well I don't know when was that interview but today , after the presentation, he said his form is still not great, he will try but he recognize Contador is in much better shape than him right now ;)

I'd be surprised if he finish in the top 5 overall

"I?m not building up my hopes and I?m not expecting too much from myself. I don?t think I have to get a result, I don?t think I need to win this race.?

Keeping similar track with 2014 schedule?

I'm having flashbacks to the Mt. Etna head shake.

Nah, VAE is dead serious, he once made a reasonable post and later admitted to being completely wasted while typing that:D

Riders yet to receive prize money for 2014 French races

Nibali still owed €539,630 for Tour de France win

Come on, we know things are running slow in Euro, but a year too long to pay out the prize.

Perhaps you should stop trolling threads you have nothing to offer on. It's really not clever.
