if you are talking about that cyclingnews article where he is writing about Milano San Remo and his future for me does not seem any offence to Aru from him, he simply said how it is and that they are not good friends with Aru and that is all, no insults in my opinion
I don't know if there's more but while not overly insulting, he certainly seems to be taking at least a small shot at Aru:

“I raced with Basso and I’ve noticed the difference between the two, there’s an abyss,” he said, openly critical of Aru. “Ivan was very open; you rarely saw him angry. Not because he was old but because he was wise. Fabio often gets upset and he’s short-tempered. At the time with Ivan I was young but I was different: I followed what Ivan did. Fabio never asks anything; he doesn’t consider you. He trusts other people, especially Paolo Tiralongo, who has raced with lots of different of leaders and has lots of experience.”

Nibali is turning into a real tool

Agree.

With grammatical difference. Has turned.

Why? I think his early outburst is totally rational, guy was preparing super hard for this race for past last months...people accused him last few years of not targeting anything other than GT, so this year he comes out firing in Oman and when the big one comes, the race is *** up, and then next day he goes and theres *** zero snow..his outburst was perfectly understandable. He then made amends with RCS few days after and that's it.

Only Brammeier showed himself a fool.

I can't help but love his racing. Knows he basically can't win, tries to win anyway. Also, if you're essentially being screwed over, it's pretty normal to be mad to some degree. Don't know what to think about the Aru story, he's basically saying he had a better relationship with Basso than Aru. The only thing that confuses me is that they seemed to like each other a lot more when Nibali won the Giro

He usually is sincere, no PR BS, a fine way to make enemies. As for Aru, in Giro he was a young dedicated gregario who in short time became Vino's new golden boy. They seem to respect each other but on a personal level there's not much love, Sardinia is a bit far from Sicily.

I think nibali's problem with aru is that aru doesnt really care about nibali's opinion. When Nibali raced with basso who was already a gt winner and one of the best climbers in the world, Nibali listened to basso because he was older and an example for nibali. Now nibali is the multiple gt winner who should be an example for aru and it seems as if aru doesnt really care about him. At least thats what nibali said in the interview and find it very understandable that he isnt really happy about it.

It's understandable to some degree. Aru seems more of a Contador fanboy

Correct. I love Nibbes, but why be a Nibbes fanboy when you've got Contador? He's got the right thinking.

Who cares? Are you guys friends with all of your colleagues? Pro athletes are average people. Some like each others, some don't.

Its a shame we had the Nibali incident last Vuelta, because his rivalry with Aru would have made a great backstory

That race didnt need any more drama. I think its more likely that nibali would have destroyed dumoulin than that he would have made the race better than it already was.

How on earth is Nibali a pure climber?! In my opinion he's one of the most all round GC riders these days. How does a pure climber finish on the podium of MSR? How does he beat everyone bar former CX world champion Lars Boom in a wet cobbled stage? He can do just about everything except sprint!

(Which is why he'll never win AGR the way it's raced these days btw, there you are definitely right. In fact, that's why he struggles winning hilly classics in general the way they are raced these days.)

Sure he's not a pure climber, people might not know but he was as a junior and U21 on the podium in WC TT then his first win 10 years ago this month was in a hilly stage in Coppi and Bartali, surprise... in the rain and his first big win GP Plouay later the same year. That being said he is first and foremost a GT rider but that won't stop him, I hope, to win at least another big one day race.

He isn't a pure climber, but when in top form he's among the best. He will clash with Landa at Trentino. I'm really hoping he has the form to kick Landa's butt.

In top form, he's among the best at almost anything; he really shows GC-blinded cyclists how proper riders race. I can't see him being in top form at Trentino, though, since he's never great in warm-ups, but I hope he can liven up Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Me too. He should have enough form, I'm not worried, he was ready to kick butts in TA that's why he was so frustrated with the cancellation of the queen stage. He says he's friends with Landa, can't wait for the showdown.

He's riding Trentino so no AGR.

Wasn't sure if he'd go for a stab at Amstel then go to Trentino. But he only has one day to rest before Trentino after that so you are right

If he targeted AGR he culd probably be in the front group after the Cauberg. Chances of winning it are close to zero though: he would never win the sprint.
