So he took time on the descent? Il falco v2 then...I find attacks on the climbs more impressive but that's just me.

Wonder if he can hold on to his 34 second lead tomorrow...

He attacked on the wall, then extended the lead on the descent. And only Purito gained time on him on the last climb. Everybody else was losing time.

Wonder if you're being serious about tomorrow's TT. In normal conditions he doesn't lose more than 10 seconds to Froome/Contador on such a short parcours.

Yea, but I hope he has improved some more in the longest climbs. If not Wiggo is going to be unbeatable this May :(
He's close to the shape of 2012 Tour, I doubt he's going to be better than that. That may be good enough but he needs to bring his A team with him.

main question: is 35 secs enough to keep the T-A trident?

Hope so!!!:D

Does this result answer your question? :)

Great result for Nibbles! After the last couple stages (in PN and TA), finally we get to see someone who can beat Sky. Really hope he can hold onto the lead. And can't wait to see the shark unleashed in the Giro. :D

He had just won Strade Bianche.
I thought so too, yet I was told he was not a 100% last year. Me as a casual cycling follower believed that instantly.

Let the skies pour open with rains from hell tomorrow.

[it is allmost like Formula One, you get great races only in the rain]
