Nibali is like a worse but just as entertaining Vino. And he is riding for Vino, so Yes he is my man

it does indeed!!! so glad for him!!!

Sorry for the bad news but your hero doesn't think he can do it.webvan said:It will probably be hard to hold on tomorrow, he might do it. Still, let's be realistic, this was an opportunistic win today, after several days if struggling for him, that's not how a GT is won...

I know a guy from Pinto that might disagreewebvan said:It will probably be hard to hold on tomorrow, he might do it. Still, let's be realistic, this was an opportunistic win today, after several days if struggling for him, that's not how a GT is won...
maxmartin said:So how a GT should be won? Boring as hell like last year Tof? Never heard of there should be a winning fomula for GT. Oh wait maybe SKY just invent it last year. LOL
And opportunity only favor those who are prepared
webvan said:So when was the last time a GT was won in a descent as opposed to climbs and ITTs? None that I can think of since 1978. Again, it was a perfect move by Nibali (and Purito) today but let's be realistic, it would take a bit of a miracle for Nibali to beat in-form riders like Wiggo or Froome or Bertie (even the current one).

Evans won.

Evans won.
webvan said:Wrong, not to mention the fact that Evans won the tour thanks to his his huge ITT superiority, but let me make this attempt to meddle worth your while : http://www.grammar-monster.com/easily_confused/decent_descent_dissent.htm

And try Stage 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QIyd0eiQNU&sns=em
He killed the Shleck's in the decent.
Such joyful watching Contador.
Evans consolidated the win in the ITT but he didn't win the Tour in the ITT alone.
Great stage indeed. And it's amazing to think that with this move and then the Alpe d' Huez attack, Contador basically killed Shleck's chances "giving" the Tour to Evans on a plate.kanari said:Your link is from stage 16. And here is a link that actually shows the descent:
