Exactly. So the peloton stays together until Astana is happy with the composition of the break and Fuglsang drops back and lets them go. In reality I think Westra will be policing the break, on both critical days thus far he has. Despite talk of how the best domestiques aren't in Astana, they have ridden a superb race up to now.

Peloton will stay together anyway, other teams will ride fierce pace trying to crack Nibali. Astana just have to follow. Unless Nibali wants to win today.

Grande Nibali! First win in yellow. :)

Edit: Nibali really knows how to do a proper victory salute I've noticed.

Well that looked close, for about .2 seconds. Lookds like he didn't even try hard

Nibali is just heads and shoulders above everyone.

Like was posted during the stage (By Dekker I think?). There are 4 top GT riders. No one else is even close to them when in form it seams.

Agree, Froome in particular would not have been a factor. Weak all year except perhaps that descent stage in TdR.

Lemond said Nibali is not even doing 100%, and he does not need to. He prepared this tour to fight with Froom.

Looking back, most of Nibali's coach said has become true, so expect Nibali to be even better in the third week!

Pffff show some respect for your favorite's rivals.

Nice win by Nibali, hope he lets other riders win too though. No Contador, no Froome, no Quintana, nobody was going to beat Nibali anyway.
This has nothing to do with respect. You know very well how the media hyped the other two riders irresponsibly, thus Nibali would've have been ahead anyway.

I wonder how Quintana would have performed in the pavé and the last ITT?

ok just for the purpose of fun. Let's do this, if TP wins, I wear AC in yellow jersey pic for three days. If VN wins, you wear VN in yellow jersey pic for three days. If neither of them wins, nothing happened. On board?

I hope this Id is man enough to follow though the avatar bet.

Irresponsibly? Froome and especially Contador have shown much better shape this year. Besides, both have shown they're able to beat Nibali in top form. Not saying Nibali would have been beaten black and blue, but to say Nibali would have won anyway, is just disrespectful. Anyway, it's useless to argue with you about this.

The "danger" of peaking for one event only.
Without some strong showing during the early part of the season, the media tend to forget about the rider these days.

what did he say?

you know those AC is the best bull****, and he will easily already be in yellow. And he said in a very distasteful way. The stage thread is discussing it right now.

Nibali is taking his sweet time for completing the GT triple crown. I remember a certain rider from some far Southern-European country who won them all in 15 months.

Edit: Now I remember, he was from Spain

In all seriousness, Nibali is crushing the opposition like a worthy TdF winner
