Andy. Legend? Really?
Really, some of us think of legendary in the sense of something great, whether achieved or missed: Andy's legend would be more on the tragic than triumphant side, and that despite his successes.

I know there are riders with better palmares, but to me he is the greatest champion of the active riders. In a hundred years, only him and contador will be mentioned alongside coppi, merckx, hinault etc.

Ok, that was awesome. I really want to see some footage of Sagan and Nibali in their descent training one day

awesome win. surprising though that he wasn't that strong uphill. dani moreno (or purito if he was here) would have smoked him if he hadn't rosa.

Now, he just has to find a way out of Kazakhstan and he'll be the old, liked, one.
What's the state of Italian power or communication industry?

Perfect win! All GTs plus a monument. That is really hard to do with how specialized the field is now.
One of the GOATs, and the best rider of 21st century.
I still believe he is not done winning yet and will increase his palmares even more

Definitely one of the best riders of his generation which is crazy considering the amount of doubters there were, and still are of his abilities.

The thing is - he has to be clinically precise with the abilities he has. Otherwise, they'll be wasted. Today's Lombardia is an obvious example.

Nibali will never die wondering - He is prepared to attack when he is feeling good.

From what you posted in the Lombardia thread, it seems you feel the "doubters" are underrating Nibali. I don't think anyone would disagree that Nibali is a very talented and very allround rider, but he is just a tad below the very best in the climbing and TTing part. That is fair enough, though, as you can't be the best at everything, but please try to understand and respect the opinion of others.

How is any of that disrespecting?

The was reminiscent of the old Nibali. Not the tour focused garbage we have been served recently.

Chapeau Shark.

The Tour focused garbage netted him 4 stage wins and the Maillot Jaune, by far the biggest bike race in the world. Trust me when I say he wouldnt trade his 2014-season for any other.

But yes, its way more fun to see him contending for many other races (as is it for any other of the superstars of cycling) since it's never fun to see Zaugg and similar kind of riders win the biggest races of the season

I think calling people "doubters" because they feel Nibali lacks in some parts of bike racing isn't respecting their opinion.
