I saw 12:01 as the difference, my jaw dropped, then I realised that was wrong and it was only 0:01. Ok performance by Nibali then :p

I really hope that Nibali can win Lombardia. If it rains, he clearly is one of the biggest favorites

Richmond is to easy for him but he can help set up Ulissi. Then Lombardia will be for him :).

If you can win in Plouay as a 22 year old, Richmond isn't too easy

The difference is that the peloton of the WC will be by far stronger

Nibali now fully out of my CQ game. He reached 1000 pts this season already. Chapeau to performing well despite such a weak showing at the Tour and getting expunged from the Vuelta.

.......and yet the haters still believe he can't win Lombardia

There are no 'haters' who think he can't win it. There are people who think guys like Purito and Valverde are better in a classic like Lombardia.

And they right of course. But that doesn't mean he can't win it. Nibali is fresher at this point then the two Spaniards. That should play in his favour.

Another nice result. Really hope he wins Lombardia. He needs to get a monument at some point in his career.

Wining all GTs and a monument would be very impressive. Would be the first since Andy Schleck to have won the Tour and a monument.

This year's Lombardia suits Nibali just fine and he will have a very strong team so there are good chances he might succeed regardless of who's in it and what form they have.

We ought to be excited, not rewrite history. Nibali has a real chance to become the first guy to win a monument and all GTs in a long time. That would be surpassing the great Andy S.

Wow. I think the fact that Nibali done the career treble beats 1 LBL and 1 Tour. Just saying.

Maybe you didn't mean that Andy actually has a better palmares. Or do you?

Andy Schleck isn't really the guy to pick to show how great it is to win both GT's and monuments. Valverde is, and in this case you shouldnt give two *** about whether the GT he won is the Tour or not.

NIbali has the better palmares but Andy was more talented. 2nd in Giro debut. Lack of focus & dedication same as Nibali after Tour 2014

i'm not a fan of andy but andy is even more talented than contador, the problem is that andy doesn't have mental strength.

You could argue about the talent, but reason for Andys retirement for sure wasn't his talent wasn't enough, rather a combination of very bad luck injury wise, mental problems and a little bit clinical reasons mixed in.

Mental problems is a part of a total package called talent.

Clinical reason is the main reason. And of course that messed with his mind because he couldn't do jack **** without his old preparation methods.

Andy is a legend but does not have the depth of talent and natural ability of Contador that you need to win a GT.
He cannot TT ...Bertie can
He cannot descend very well ,,,Bertie can
He is not the best bike handler ,,,Bertie is much better
He cannot ride downhill in the rain ,,,, Bertie can.
He also has trouble trying to shift off his front chainring :D
