Valverde won FW before riding the Giro in 2016, but underperformed in LBL (the bad weather and low temperatures probably also had a big impact).Best comparison is LBL for riders who go to the Giro. Fairly sure only Valverde and Di Luca won it before doing the Giro, and that's with LBL being an easier uphill sprint trick pony race than this worlds by a long shot.
Nibs might get a top 10 but I don't expect a top 5, sadly.
Ah I mixed my LBLs up.Valverde won FW before riding the Giro in 2016, but underperformed in LBL (the bad weather and low temperatures probably also had a big impact).
You're joking, but they are really horrible, like some trash from the 70'...I'm shook
I really dislike the new shades
Hes roleplaying like Hesjedal so they ignore him for 3 weeksYou're joking, but they are really horrible, like some trash from the 70'...
And he was right there with teammate and CN legend Pieter Weening. He was very close to future legend Matteo Jorgenson so I won't worry for now.
Just looked at the result...is it as bad as it sounds?
Sadly can't travel to Egypt right now or I'd go swimming in denialOh boy
Agreed.Too much worry in this thread.
Vincenzo Nibali will 100% win the 2020 Giro d'Italia.
I don't like saying it myself, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think he's past his peak now. Might get a top 5, but won't be contesting the win in the Giro.
