doesn't look like a confirmation... that's just a random "I'm clean" statement that only confirms he noticed there are rumours about him.

If this is really true the only surprise is that he has been caught, not that he was doping.

The step up on the program has been very obvious this giro, not so much pre giro to be honest, but during the giro it was just as obvious as Santambrodgios.

Also my Italian is pretty bad but it seems like some people were already commenting stuff along the lines of "the giro will always be yours" on his facebook page so . . .

As others have said, it reads as "I don't dope, and I would never dope - I'd rather retire if I'm no longer competitive".

Anyway, this should be interesting. I'm a big Nibali fan but if it turns out he's been caught I'll celebrate.

No. Although I think the UCI can do a lot more, the riders aren't so uncarefull that the UCI can just catch them whenever they feel like. If Nibali is caught it's because he messed up.
