As much as I love Nibbles, I'm forced to agree.

Although I guess the competition was weak and no one else peaked properly.

Softpedalling mountain stages is in apparently

Scarponi not the same man he was in 2011 (he is the only benchmark today) but seems pretty clear that Nibali has made significant improvements in the last two winters.

Well today's stage was entertaining. Gloves are off, folks.

Nibs cracks me up.

What is funny is that if this had been Froome, or Wiggins, or Alberto, instead of Nibali, the Clinic would have crashed by now. The public's favorite can't do no wrong I guess.

Or the difference is that no one defends him.

Also steady progression + weak field.

2 days ago it wasn't a weak field:confused: Wtf

First, when trying to proof Nibali is better than Alberto; this field is not weak at all!!

Now, when trying to defend him against clinic accusations; this field is weak!!

to the bolded, there are just 7 people accusing him. If this had been Froome the sky and froome thread would both have 100 new replies

The riders who are left are relatively weak (except Nibali ofc) (Nibali would be the only one with a chance to top-5 the Tour).

And when no one defends him, why should everyone mention that he ofc is a doper? I don't think anyone has any doubt about that.

Also note the most important part: Steady progression.

As a Nibali fan I'll say that I feel there is a better chance of him being clean than Wiggo or Froome, but that's about as far as i'll go.

He has links with Ferrari. No doubt. He is a doper.

The question is when he started. As a pro or before?

I'd say he's a lifer, from the first or second year. The end result is always the same even if the paths are often quite different.

Everybody thinks and believes that he is a doper from way before so no one defends him. People sometimes are thick. Or every poster should have a post saying they know he is dirty?
