On a different planet :(

He didnt even drop Peraud and only put 20 seconds or so into the other french guys. Nothing close to being alien. Even Franck Schleck was up there.

The seconds aren't giving the clear picture. He did just as much as he felt he should.
The acceleration around 3,5km. from the finish was just ridiculous. Like an elite vs. juniors.

It's irrelevant. Nibali wasn't riding on his limit.
In only couple hundreds of meters during his acceleration, Majka's advantage was dropping like he was standing still.

I mean people focus on who he beat too much instead of how fast he may have been going.

And yes, I know, times alone don't tell the whole story.

well 3/4/5 are sort of juniors..

But it's hard to tell if it's just a joke of a Tour because Contendor and Froome are gone or if Nibali turned around a bad season where he was getting dropped by the guy in fifth place overall.

I would guess it was slow since the time differences werent big and also becaues Majka hardly lost any time on the climb even after two days in the break.

They were riding behind Gastauer for half of the climb and then had time for a discussion about tactics when he pulled over

You're right. Mostly the young riders behind him. But Valverde... That's something else.

Absence of the duo raised more questions than their presence would give answers.

Hard to benchmark him in the absence of Froome and Contador, but his peaking for the Tour is suspect given how he was dropped at the Dauphine, but then maybe what's left of the competition is just easy pickings, who knows?

I dont have any doubts that Nibali is doping. That much seems obvious to me.

The only question is whether he is mutant or not. I would say he looks about the same as in 2013 giro which was a step up from previous years. Would get dropped by Froomes mutant attacks, might be able to hang on to Contador is my guess.

Nibali: "I've never met Michele Ferrari. I've heard people talking about him."

Good to have that cleared up. He is clean then as there is no evidence they met.

to be sure, nibali didn't appear in bertagnolli's confession.
http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/pellizotti-and-nibali-deny-working-with-ferrari
is there any evidence of nibali working with ferrari other than fanini's claims?

Well, that's a very good question and very correct as wel. There's a distinct lack of evidence.

I know how to use the Cyrillic script.
Hahahaha :)

but tbh, funny as that might be, we need to have a bit more than that to link him with Ferrari.

And no, I have no doubt that Nibs is charging. Just prefer to stick with things which are verifiable.

He honestly never looked like he ever went into the red during the Dauphine though.

And he has gone into the red in this tour at what stage ? He looked rubbish at the Dauphine and distinctly normal. This farce of not having any form and then suddenly battering people is nonsense.

Hopefully, the verification will appear in form of the passport irregularities.
It looks to me that gradual reshaping of his profile is what's happening from 2011./12.. Knowing Vino's hunger and lack of caution, the gradualism might be slightly too fast and unveil some deviations.
It may take time, though, but that's the number to bet on.
