Thomas Voeckler suspicion index = 0
Pierre Rolland suspicion index = 0

Europcar (ex Bbox) second lowest team suspicion index

(index 2010)

Not proof but a good indicator.

That list indicates nothing. The UCI said so. At age 32 Voeckler is suddenly one of the best climbers in the world. Kern at age 30 is suddenly brilliant too, and Rolland is stronger than the best. There is a very sharp difference in their skills from 2010 to 2011. Too sharp.

A few days ago I was willing to give Voeckler the benefit of the doubt. Climbing with Basso and Evans while dropping S. Sanchez and Contador on stage 18 does not look plausible.

And their suspicion index of '0' just beat those with a suspicion index of 5. wtf.

if things were slightly cleaning up in the peloton -- or at least the most egregious dopers were limited...how do you think that would look in terms of racing and results?

probably something like it does today.

It's true, 2010 Voeckler wasn't suspicious. That list was just a snapshot of a particular time. Nothing else.

In the Pyrenees it was "Voeckler is up there because the favourites aren't riding. The moment they go all out, he'll drop". There you have it, queen stage, ridden very hard, and he climbed with the very best. But hey, he grimaced a lot.

then skeptics have to admit Contador is riding this tour clean. You can't have it both ways.

No way a clean Voekler drops a doped up contador.

What kind of logic is that? It could be that what we're seeing is a doped, but slightly injured and pretty exhausted Contador. Contador is not at his normal level, but the other GT contenders are, and Voeckler has caught up with them. Furthermore, look up the results of ONCE in the 90s and 00s to see examples of botched "preparations" leading to abysmal performances.

TV's even declared that his preparation this year has been no different to previous years. So how does he now climb with the best? One has to question why he's started a program at 32 if indeed he has. Still dumbfounded myself and can only come up with one plausible reason. He should have been showing more at 24,25,26.

Kohl began doping at 19. For the 2008 season, he decided to take it up a notch and get into an A-class program. The rest is history.

all of the europcar team must be on some really nasty program after voeckler, kern and rolland's performance jumps

Better make sure we get Danielson, Hesjedal, and Vande Velde moved way up on the doper list too then. They all beat Contador, Sanchez and Zubeldia to the summit...

Pretty conclusive that climbing speeds are WAY down this year.

Doesn't mean anyone is clean, but it means it's possible to compete clean.

First time since Lemond that a clean rider could be on the podium.

Well, of course. The guy had ZERO palmares before this Tour.

Well, everything he won before was obviously because he was doping then, too. So yes, ZERO palmares as a clean rider...

His palmares really doesn't screem future possible tour winner or at least strong contender. And even as a psychologist I don't believe in the magic power u get when you wear the MJ :p

Precisely. In fact, evidence would suggest that, since he performed poorly in prior grand tours from a GC standpoint, his successes this year against many riders previously suspected of doping points to only one real conclusion:

Voeckler is the ONLY one doping this year!

....people were saying that he only kept the jersey in the pyrenees because the racing was conservative and the contenders were saving themselves.

then on monday due to contador's attacks the race was much more aggressive and it looked like he was cracking and lost some time. that would go according the "he can keep up with the contenders when they aren't going all out but when they go all out he will lose time" theory.

but after today he kept up with the contenders on an extremely hard and aggressively ridden stage. and imho thats a sign that he and some of his team members are doped to the gills most likely beyond levels of dope said contenders are taking.

Meh I dunno, the way he held that jersey in the 04 tour against a waaaaay more doped field was very impressive to say the least. they softpedalled in the pyrenees and he did lose time on contador twice.
