Vuelta 2023 I guess, lol.WTF, Ayuso…
No words needed. As I see from your forum reactions, he also does not even surprise anyone any more. The only question seems to be when he will win his first Grand Tour.

Pog,Rog, or Van Aert aren’t sick as far as I’m aware.Top 2.
I think Covi isn't a GC/GT guy. I think he will be more of a competitor for Hirschi than for Almeida or Ayuso. So the pecking order should be 1. Pog 2. Almeida.
I think Covi is above Ayouso too in pecking order tbh but... oh well.
We don't have the same top 3.Pog,Rog, or Van Aert aren’t sick as far as I’m aware.

Ayuso was not asked to ride for Covi at Laigueglia so I'd say he's already considered at same level (even in one day races). So the pecking order should be 1. Pog 2. Almeida.

By rankings yes, but Van Der Poel in my book is at least equal to Van Aert...If you look at the rankings the last couple of years, there can be no doubt that Pogacar, Roglic and Van Aert are the three best riders in road cycling.
I'm not arguing about the UAE pecking order but Laigueglia is such an insignificant race that they wouldn't necessarily go all in for one rider, which may happen in some of the bigger races.Ayuso was not asked to ride for Covi at Laigueglia
I don't think Higuita felt particularly good yesterday. He lost the sprint to Quintana...There was a bit of headwind on the final climb, that plus all the illness made teams uncertain and hesitant. Still super stupid for Bora not to chase at any point, and Hindley didn't move a finger for Higuita at any point.
Weak headwind for the final part of the climb again today (5-10 km/h):

Same low temperature as yesterday, 3 degrees at the top of the climb.
just a mistake probably. The official communiquée has O'Connor with 10 pointsAnyone know why there were no KOM points awarded for La Molina yesterday? Official website shows it as cat 1, but has no points for the climb in yesterday's results or the overall KOM standings.
He still came 4th and is the team's only GC hope. I doubt he would have fared worse in the final kilometre if O'Connor had been caught. He was in a good position in the end, but it wasn't thanks to his team.I don't think Higuita felt particularly good yesterday. He lost the sprint to Quintana...
How would Ayouso be a GT rider specifically? I don't get it. He doesn't look like one to me, but then I am a noob. It's just so far he has no good TT, plus his physique isn't that of a GT rider to my eyes either.
But as I said I am a noob. He seems to have the ego for it though.
I'm curious to see how UAE will handle things today.
And if I'm not mistaken he rode the TT on a lowered seat (still finished in the top10).Giro Ciclistico d'Italia 2021 Stage 10 results
Juan Ayuso is the winner of Giro Ciclistico d'Italia 2021, before Tobias Halland Johannessen and Henri Vandenabeele. Ben Healy is the winner of the final stage.www.procyclingstats.com
Whatever the circumstances and his final position in the stage he lost less than 1.5 s/km to the U23 ITT WC. Looks good to me for a non-specialist.And if I'm not mistaken he rode the TT on a lowered seat (still finished in the top10).
Thank you! This taught me a new way to use PCS that I hadn't manage to find on my own! Also then I could compare him to Almeida easier.Giro Ciclistico d'Italia 2021 Stage 10 results

YatesSo, who's out sick today?
Yates DNS?
Maybe Ajuso is planning an ambush on creu de pervesAnd of course Soler is in the breakaway instead of working as a domestique for Ayuso.
And he's better in the break than riding 10 meters behind him...Maybe Ajuso is planning an ambush on creu de perves
