Think he could get dropped today. Doesn't look as as comfortable as yesterday?
Yesterday he was too much on the front. Today he's too far back. Don't understand the team tactics to drive the front early on the climb to have him isolated. The only reason would be if they feel that was all they could do, because they'd get dropped anyway. Or that he were feeling very good, which doesn't seem like it so far. So i have to wonder about Vervaeke, why did they bring him if he can't even stay with him on a climb like this for some support later on the climb.

He's simply not good enough today. Nothing to do with the team. I think you underestimate the level of competition here. This isn't Provence.

It's not just the level of competition, it's also Van Wilder not going well. Torstein Traeen is outclimbing him, for example.
