I really want Roglic to just blast off on Isidre and see what happens. Another uphill sprint would frankly just be boring, and I don't think the Monjuic circuit is a great opportunity to try to drop Ayuso either, cause Ayuso is a better descender and Monjuic always disappoints.

No chance something relevant happens on Montjuic.

Praying at least some team makes it hard on Isidre or this might have been the most boring Catalunya ever.

Obviously Pradell getting canceled is sad, but I wish Catalunya still just had a ~20km ITT instead of a 3rd sprint stage, cause with the field it attracks that is absolutely unnecessary.

And yes, slightly better choice of MTF wouldn't hurt but I guess they get rather limited offers.

If they continue chopping large chunks of difficulties out of the stage, then Rog's path to Victory gets narrower and narrower. In fact almost impossible, tbh.

I've been nothing if not consistent on saying Rogla's sprinting is miles better on a climb than on a flat/downhill like the one in Barcelona.

The Volta Cycling to Catalonia announced this Saturday that it suspends the end of the stage in Queralt and that it works on the relocation of the goal in the town of Berga, due to the strong streaks of wind that occur in the area.

I think they are just gonna cancel the whole stage, but if it's just Isidre we might actually see bigger differences then if they would finish on Queralt.
