Isn't it time to give Lazkano his own topic?

I proposed a thread called "Lazkano: The Basque Flecha" months ago, but never got any feedback. Flecha probably isn't the best comparison though, but there haven't been many Spanish riders who's had good results on cobbles.

Why didn't you just make the thread?

In general there has been a lack of new rider threads lately. Gregoire doesn't have one either, for example.

Yes he does!

It isn't in the rider thread directory and the search didn't bring it up because I forgot the accent.

So is Vingegaard riding for Roglic at the Vuelta ?
Why is he going there ? Has he not been celebrating his Tour victory all over Denmark ? Or is he going to blow everyone out of the water again

With the exception of Pogacar seems everyone that is anyone is at the Vuelta..well maybe Rodriquez ..why is he not riding the Vuelta ?

What I have loved about the Vuelta in previous years is someone turns up and rides in a way no one expected and is flying high ...wonder who it will be this year ??

or will it just be a 1,2,3 Jumbo train up each mountain

This is a Vuelta thread alright. But not the Vuelta you think it is.

Maybe you posted in the wrong thread. But I have an opinion about Vingegaard in the Vuelta. I think it was scheduled from the beginning of the year according to Jumbo. I am not even sure if there are some commercial obligations behind all this. I thought I heard something about it. We'll learn quickly in the first week what he is really doing in the Vuelta. I just don't think that he will contest for the win. I just don't see it with the preparation and the way the Tour as raced.

Vine must've felt the crash? He looked terrible that last km. I know he's not the punchiest but there were multiple guys ahead of him that shouldn't be there given how he rode on Picon Blanco yesterday.

Lazkano shines again - chapeau! "In the last kilometer I knew I had to be the first to go into the last four corners section. After that I had the confidence that I could finish it and so it happened." He and De Lie will be ones to watch next Spring.
