Well, that was anticlimactic, Yates rode to perfectly guarantee he gained nothing. He's a far more interesting rider than he used to be back when the old joke was that the way you told the Yates brothers apart was that if they were doing anything interesting, it was Simon, but whatever he was trying to do there, it didn't work.
