Crashing is too risky, UAE should go for the shirt pull. Just physically hold him back at the same time that Almeida attacks so he can't respond and loses time. Have someone ride shoulder to shoulder with him at all times so if he stands up to attack it's easy to reach over and grab his jersey.
Good thinking.
In the mountain stages UAE could even have several satellite riders up the road, to take turns pulling Vingegaard's jersey if he attacks.

It wasn't really an apology, it was more of a sorry you crashed and hope you are OK message.

'Sorry to have hit your arm but it was impossible to avoid it, hope that you are also all OK'.

"Hope that you are also all OK"
Also.
Does that give reason to hope Ciccone himself is okay?

With the size of professional arms and torsos it's a miracle that even the most mundane of crash is not a broken bone disaster!! Del Toro rinsed out in front of a flying Ciccone, lucky Mexican's arm bone didn't cause a puncture.. These guys are meat free skeletons!! Italian didn't have time to bunny hop!!

Oh cut it out already. Why does everybody act like his or her favourite rider is hated by the rest of the world nowadays?
I seriously haven't seen anybody on this forum ever hate on Del Toro. But a clownish mistake is a clownish mistake. Lighten up a bit.

Then you haven't been paying attention.

And he isn't my favourite rider at all.
