It's finally starting now... Muppets. Good thing they are showing the profile first.

Ah, they only just welcomed Eurosport International. British Eurosport joined them 35 minutes back, but anyone know who was there to be joined??

I like that Andalucia get in so many breaks - it would be good to see them get a stage out of it.

Generally the role for teams without a leader / sprinter. Sorry if i'm discounting mechante, but yeah.

I expected Katucha to feature up front this year, but not the domineering way they have shown themselves so far. Very impressed.

I never could muster any enthusiasm for Katusha, but they have grown on me tremendously this Vuelta. Teasing Rodriguez away from Valverde was certainly what started the defrosting process for me. I always liked him as a rider and was pleased to see him at the helm rather than in support.

But the team as a whole is doing a sterling job. Almost makes me forget how invisible and inconsequential Rabo has been.

agree with this. I hated seeing rodriguez as a domestique the last couple of years. Huge talent, Unzué in my opinion held him back.

Am I imagining things or was LL Sanchez dropped towards the end of the climb? If so, has he rejoined?

To answer my own question, sort of, Harmon and Kelly were saying that some riders have rejoined the peloton, so presumably if he was dropped he got back.

Rogriguez is the sort of rider that we need more of, classy attacking rider.
I hope he gets the overall but Anton may have other ideas.

Attacking rider? Have I missed something in this Vuelta? where he has attacked?

Caisse's leaderless making-it-up-as-we-go-along strategy is amazingly fruitful. 2 wins, and a lot of cards left to play in a multitude of ways.

I hope Team Sky is taking notes...
