Nibali looks to be suffering more than Mosquera. I think his ability to suffer will be even bigger than usual today though.

Still an andalucia caja sur rider in there. Pace cant be too high.

I agree... will be a close call.

Where are all the Frank Schleck Sastre Purito etc attacks:rolleyes:

Where is the Spanish teamwork to knock Nibali out:rolleyes:

Like a tour stage, this is simply coming down to the final few km.

Lets hope it ends better than tour stages though.

The peloton is still so big that I'm surprised that there hasn't been more attempts by non-GC contenders on the climb. I know that the final 3k is incredibly tough, but for many of these guys, they don't have much to lose, so why not go for it?

My point was more, and not just directed at you, do people who thought Mosquera could overturn a 39 second deficit (60% of the forum) now think that since its a whopping 50 seconds, he wont manage?

It is still doable, but I now pretty doubtful that I will get that right.

The big difference between 39 and 50 secs will be in Nibali's head. He will feel a little bit less jumpy when Mosquera goes, especially if Kreuziger is still around. So a bigger chance he will keep his own place means a smaller chance to blow. And he will need to blow for Mosquera to snatch it. I don't think he will cook early enough now, because it's one hell of a carrot to hang on for, and Kreuziger might turn those 50 secs a mighty cosy cushion.

The beauty of blowing is that it can mean anything. If Nibali avoids it he will get it for sure. If not, here's hoping.....

(I prefer to see Mosquera win this one, nothing personal).

Time for Schleck and Rodriguez to form an alliance and head off the front. Wait, we do have an attack from a Cervelo rider.

Several stages back they made the last 6km up a hill more entertaining than the entire tour. I would be amazed if this would be less entertaining than the Schleck-Contador snooze sizzle.

Maybe they will go for an on the spot face-off?

Que Kreuziger fanboys coming on here to tell us once again that no one attacked because Kreuziger kept to high a pace:rolleyes:

Despite the fact andalucia caja sur werent being dropped.

I know that the forum loves to bash Phil and Paul, but the Universal Sports announcers may actually be worst. They just stated that Philip Deignan was on the attack, which would be pretty impressive considering he dropped out a few stages ago.
