Hahahahaha Ackermann.

I don't know if I should be impressed how strong he looked at an uphill finish like that or if his signature move of going waaay to early is again just meme worthy.

He’s not going to beat Mads, Coquard, Ackermann and others on a less steep finish than stage 4.

I havent rly seen much of anything from the Vuelta and just watched this finish by chance, its not only that he didnt win but how he was in perfect position struggled to stay on his leadout mans wheel and then got overwhelmed by some of the guys you mentioned

So what’s the record for the most career GT top-tens before getting a victory/without a victory? Wright is at nine and counting.

Ya, he should get beat by a few of them, and the leadout was too early IMO.

Leave it to Ackermann to launch an uphill sprint at over 300 metres to go.

I think it was a good move. If there had been slower riders behind him into the curve or someone had a mishap there, he would have been very hard to catch. And I don't think he could have beat Pedersen in a head-to-head battle there. Of course, if you believe he could have done that, the move will not seem good.
