Developing news!!

As we speak some conclusions have already been made…
Evenepoel at 3.5km from the finish realized he hadn’t the legs for that very hard and long climb and simulate a flat tyre, he then asked QS for a change of bike and told QS DS to pinch the tyre with a needle just in case that the race Commissaires did an inspection on his bike. Still not happy with that and Knowing that Roglic was on his way to fight for the stage he asked Van Poppel to bump into Roglic, breaking just a bit while he fought for the sprint!

Yeah I don’t know why the “Remco faked it” attained critical mass and established itself as the focus instead of Roglic as tragic hero with bike handling as his fatal flaw.

Edit: Not to say bad luck hasn’t had an impact. But if you can handle your bike well enough, you can overcome a lot. See: Sagan bunny hopping a fallen rider without losing a moment.
Yea, Roglič is now into Geraint Thomas territory. Anybody can have a crash due to bad luck, but when it becomes a pattern of happening to one particular rider it suggests the problem is with their bike handling, placement or pack skills.

There are accidents which he can't help ofcourse (like the tour), but on the other hand besides crashing he also caused a few crashes or almost causes them.
Max Schachmann has hit out at Primoz Roglic and Jumbo-Visma, describing the Slovenian as a "danger to all riders"

So probably Roglic is a guy who likes to takes risks here and there (also why he won a stage at the beginning). However sometimes it doesn't end well.

Hope he didn't suffer to big injuries and can still continue/fight for his GC position at least.

In years to come, the biggest mass debate in cycling will be between flat tyrer's vs round tyrer's.

Would you rather have races be decided by luck?
Well isn't it luck that Remco rode 186.5km on a tire that suddenly deflated just past the 3km to go sign?

You win some, lose some. As it is this race could be decided by Roglic's accident - one that probably doesn't happen if he receives the 'Remco has a problem, you have a large gap & don't need the time bonus' message from his DS. Swings & roundabouts.

I honestly would not want Evenpoel to lose the Vuelta to a puncture at an unfortunate time, but your mileage may vary.
