It’s not like you are either 100%healty or you’re sick and basically can’t pedal, there are a lot of nuances.
And just a small drop in performance level can be enough to make a massive difference.

I don’t think that’s a rule anymore. And if he only carried on today because it wasn’t covid this time despite knowing he had symptoms, that would be silly (if he did have symptoms prior to race that he thought would limit performance). This should all be based on symptoms and not name of the virus at this point.

But he may not even be sick. He’s coming back according to the PCS feed, and Aubisque was raced at record pace. Too early to tell anything yet.
