Planned disaster in 3). Can't win a GC against real gc riders , that aren't injured so gives up ...takes a rest to do gimmick stage rides...like the one. There is a low bar setting for heroes these days

You must appreciate the absolute tactical brilliance of this win. He also had to close Buitrago and Kämna on the descent, the latter unfortunately crashing but Costa was about to reel him back anyway. People are just lazy when they say he "wheelsucked". He was also the first rider that followed Remco in the move that ended up being the break. Just so smart. Incredible rider. What a great win this was.

Buitrago also attacked multiple times to drop Costa on the climb. He definitely earned this one.

If someone keeps attacking. You dont go to the front. Would be a mistake. You shouldnt help someone who is trying to drop you.

Costa is a killer

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. Kämna made a mistake in going to the front in the last hundred meters. Costa may not win with panache but he is paid to win stages regardless of the way he does it so he succeeded in that goal.

Remco still able of doing 4th despite doing most of the work behind, his sprint truly is very strong nowadays.
