If we go by precedent, Lulu crashed the other day when he was chatting with Geraint and they tangled their handlebars.

The break gradually creeps up to 15 mins. Does Bahrain ride to protect Buitrago’s top ten from Remco? Does Landa attack for 4th place? Neither scenario is all that interesting. The best we can expect is for Rui Costa to have great legs and wheelsuck Remco all the way.

I do think the organisers too the wrong circuit with how easy the climbs are. Circuit with the San Lorenzo Escorial climb would be much more brutal I think.

That climb does not connect with anything in a circuit unless they add a long flat section.
