Forget the GC part, but if there any stage where Steepp Kuss needs to be a major factor it’s this one.Slow mo racing to look forward to but mybe the return of GC Kuss ...
This is what im hoping too, that it's too steep to them have the energy to arrive in masses. It’s a stiff enough climb that even walking up it is challenging, so that should diminish the number of folks showing up just to protest. Though we’ll still some crossover protester/cycling fan individuals, who I hope have enough respect for the latter to not interfere.
For sure, this is why he is there. Deliver a classic Kuss hammer and watch the mayhem unfold.Forget the GC part, but if there any stage where Steepp Kuss needs to be a major factor it’s this one.
If Landa doesn't ride for GC Kuss again I will be so disappoint,
I had no idea what you were talking about because your link makes the video start at a point after all the controversy.Did you watch the clip? He clearly accuses Jorgenson for being 'the king of the Vuelta' and the main voice for rider talks against IPT.
Drafting on 2km of Angliru does not make 17 seconds or whatever it was.Kuss owes beers to Landa for the rest of his life. What a legendary move by Landismo it was when Kuss' "teammates" left him in Angliru fog.

Maybe but he lost 24 secs to Jonas on a much easier climbDunno about that GC guy, but I know of a TP guy, not loosing 2 mins.
Noticing some Portuguese-based backlash on social media regarding Marc's antics, looking forward to seeing what happens today!

They're friends. They both live in Andorra and train together often.I don't think it can be ruled out that Soler was actually trying to drop Ayuso yesterday, but instead managed to launch him by mistake.
MTF's like these usually don't provide as big gaps as one might expect. The last five times Angliru has been the MTF, the margin between 1st and 5th has been:
2023: 44 seconds
2020: 26 seconds
2017: 51 seconds
2013: 54 seconds
2012: 1 minute 21 seconds
So I don't expect huge gaps today either.
2013 is hard to use as a measurement, because it was won by Elissonde from a break (I believe - correct me if I'm wrong).
It would be funny if the Portoguese backlash against Soler has only just started, given that he has spent the last 4 years in some kind of psychosis when he was supposed to be helping Almida. Meanwhile those Portoguese called for the crucifixion of Masnada after 1 giro stage when he tried his best!Noticing some Portuguese-based backlash on social media regarding Marc's antics, looking forward to seeing what happens today!
